Getting to Arts & Framing
Please note that Putnam, Connecticut
is only 45 minutes from Casinos, Hartford, and Providence 20 minutes
from Worcester, 1 hour from Boston and 3 hours from New York City!
Coming from the North:
Take Route 395 south to exit 95, Kennedy Drive. Turn right onto
Kennedy Drive and travel approximately 1 mile to a 4-way stop
light. Turn right into municipal parking lot. You will see the
green and white ‘Arts & Framing’ sign on the
back of the Ward Building diagonally to your left (as you look
up the hill to Main Street). You can enter the Ward Building
from the side door under the atrium window or from the front
of the building.
Coming from the South:
Take Route 395 north to exit 95, Kennedy Drive.
Turn right onto Kennedy Drive (yes you do turn right the same
as if you were traveling from the North) and travel approximately
1 mile to a 4-way stop light. Turn right into municipal parking
lot. You will see the green and white ‘Arts & Framing’ sign
on the back of the Ward Building diagonally to your left (as
you look up the hill to Main Street). You can enter the Ward
Building from the side door under the atrium window or from
the front of the building.
Coming from the East:
Route 44 West will take you right through
downtown Putnam. As you cross Main Street, take the first left
onto Canal Street and into the municipal parking lot. You will
see the green and white ‘Arts & Framing’ sign
on the back of the Ward Building diagonally to your left (as
you look up the hill to Main Street). You can enter the Ward
Building from the side door under the atrium window or from
the front of the building.
Coming from the West:
Route 44 East will take you right to downtown Putnam. After
the traffic light, take the first right onto Canal street and
turn right into the municipal parking lot. You will see the green
and white ‘Arts & Framing’ sign on the back of
the Ward Building diagonally to your left (as you look up the
hill to Main Street). You can enter the Ward Building from the
side door under the atrium window or from the front of the building.
